Chris Nicholson's Writing Weblog
September 01, 2005 Thursday
I'm home from the US Open for one evening. Last night went pretty long — we didn't wrap up work on USOpen.org until about 1:15 a.m. The cause of the late finish was Andy Roddick losing in the first round; that news was big enough to push everything else to the backburner, subsequently creating a logjam that took me about two hours to clear (not to mention a lion's share of mixed cliches that I'm still sorting through).
Now I'm home to relax for a couple hours. My simple plan is to watch the Yankee game until I fall asleep. Then in the morning, after running a couple errands, I'll be on the road back to New York City.
