Mundanity

Why the three-week silence from me? Because I've been writing, and reading, nothing!

Just kidding. Well, sort of.

The past couple months have been busy with work too mundane to be "exciting" for the blog. Not mundane for me, though; any work that pays enough for me to remain self-employed is fantastic. The past few weeks have mostly involved corporate editing and press-release writing. I did write a news article last week, but I can't talk about it yet.

As for reading, I'm stalled in the middle of my current book, The Immortal Class: Bike Messengers and the Cult of Human Power, by Travis Culley. It's a very good book, but I've been distracted by other matters, such as business texts and staying up too late to read before bed.

On the other hand, I did read three books this summer that I've yet to review here. Perhaps I should get to that next, to provide blog fodder until I feel my work is publicly interesting again.
