Quotable

My favorite line this year from behind the scenes at the US Open:

News-TV journalist, cameraman in tote, drolly saying over and over while strolling past each of several hundred desks in the media work room: "Anyone want to pick Djokovic to win tomorrow? Anyone?"

Today Novak Djokovic is playing in his first Grand Slam final against Roger Federer, who's won 11 of them. On the other hand, Djokovic is the only player who has beaten the ultra-talented Swiss star all summer.
